We hit the ground running in 2021 with a roadshow to the Airport West Region from February 8 to February 14. SDA Officials visited members in stores throughout the week to talk about pay and conditions, our latest campaigns, and give members the opportunity to update their details.
There was a lot of interest from workers in our campaigns for respect and better conditions in retail and fast food. 77 new members joined the union throughout the week.
Members who updated their details and non-members who joined the union went into the draw to win an SDA Merch Pack. This included:
