About the campaign

The SDA has filed a groundbreaking case in the Fair Work Commission to abolish junior pay rates for workers aged 18 and older in retail, fast food, and pharmacy. The case seeks to ensure all adults receive the full adult wage, with key proposals to raise pay for 18-20-year-olds and adjust rates for younger workers. The SDA aims to end age-based pay discrimination, advocating for equal wages for all workers of adult age, regardless of experience or age.
