Normally, employees must wait until a company enters liquidation before they can access FEG assistance.
However, thanks to the SDA’s efforts, affected workers will be able to apply for their entitlements as soon as their employment at Mosaic ends, ahead of the official liquidation process.
The FEG scheme provides crucial financial support to employees impacted by their employer’s liquidation, and this expedited access offers significant relief to Mosaic Brands workers facing redundancy.
